Heading off to Orlando, Florida tomorrow, where the forecast indicates the weather in early spring there is much the same as Sydney’s first few days of autumn. The night before the flight is the usual flurry of packing and getting the house in order. We have done minimal planning for this trip as it’s purpose is mainly to visit family; however we are planning to see some wild manatees, have a nice dinner or two, do some shopping at a premium designer outlet and potentially, maybe, perhaps, visit the Harry Potter theme park.
Orlando’s attractions appear to be mainly theme park oriented, and while the idea of revisiting my childhood in Disney World does appeal, the $92 per person fee does not. So what are some other things to do and see in Orlando that won’t break the bank? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
