Light is every photographer’s main concern. The intensity, colour and direction of the available light – these are all considerations photographers use in their work. Without light, there can be no image. This was taken underneath Notre Dame’s famed rose window, with the votive candles just barely illuminating the man’s face. Taken without a tripod and on high ISO, so forgive the shake and noise!
